Mask: students will be shown how to apply clay & professional products.

Unit 10
Make-up: Understand explain & select make-up according to the occasion, client colouring & preferences.
Fake-tan application

Unit 11
Manicure & Pedicure
Understand explain & demonstrate use of the following products & tools; emery boards, cuticle massage cream/oil, cuticle remover
Hoofstick tipped orangewood stick. Cuticule nipper, buffers, pedicure rasp, nail enamels, frosted, cream, light, dark and French
manicure.

Unit 12
Waxing
Understand, explain and demonstrate the use of the following hot wax, cool wax & sugaring. Students will be able to treat the following
areas under arm, bikini, full leg wax,lip,chin,forearms & eyebrows

Anatomy for beauty therapist that will be covered;
Students will be able to recognize skin diseases, disorders & show knowledge of whether they are contraindicated or not.
Endocrine System, Muscles, Bones, Nerves of the face, neck, shoulders & arms
Functions of the hair, nails and skin (All units have theory, practical and case histories)

2 Cotten Flat Sheets (Black in Colour)
2 Large Bath Towels & 1 Hand Towel (Wine or Black in Colour)
1 Velcro Closing Head Band
Beauty Book - Details given at Entrance Interview
Waxing Kit:- consisting of Wax Pot, Wax Strips, Hot & Warm Wax, Pre and Post Solution. (Waxing Equipment available from Walmer at
Special Student Price)

Course fee: €2,680 (Includes Facial, Make Up, Manicure & Pedicure Kits to the value of €275 & Uniform Tunic)
(Deposit €950 required to secure booking)

I.T.E.C Examination fees €100 are included in the 2nd Installment.
A place will be secured on your behalf upon completion of:
1) I.T.E.C application form (Form 1.1)
2) Non refundable Booking Deposit.
3) Fully completed consultation card (Form 1.2) .
4) Previous Student exam number if any ( i.e. ITEC ) Students must be 17years of age at the date of the examination.
