Pilates is a fantastic way to get fit and look great. It will help you to greatly improve your strength, flexibility and co-ordination all by focusing on your core postural muscles. These muscles are essential to supporting your spine and are the power-house of our bodies. There are many health benefits to training with Pilates and each week we will include information on some Self-Help techniques which will give your body and mind the perfect start to the New Year. So no matter what your age or your current fitness level these classes are designed to create a fusion of body and mind in order to produce improved health and fitness. There will also be time set aside for a relaxation exercise at the end of each class. Each class is limited to 10 people so as to allow for better personal instruction. MORNING CLASSES RAHENY Baby Massage With Janice Foy - Course starts February 5th 2010 4 weeks - €120 11:30am Following the structure of the International Association of Infant Massage, these classes provide a wonderful way to enhance the bonding process and keep in touch with your growing child. Some of the benefits of Infant Massage include: better sleep, helps digestion & elimination, body awareness for baby, boosts immune system, improves skin condition, improves blood circulation, balances respiration, relief for teething pains and is a great help for colic. Class numbers are small with a maximum 6 mums and babies and last for 4 weeks at a cost 120. VHI, Hibernian and Quinn Health reimburse a substantial amount on the cost of Baby Massage.
