Manicure & Pedicure
Understand explain & demonstrate use of the following products & tools;
emery boards, cuticle massage cream/oil, cuticle remover Hoofstick tipped orangewood stick. Cuticule nipper, buffers, pedicure rasp, nail enamels,
frosted, cream, light, dark and French manicure.

Anatomy for beauty therapist that will be covered;
Students will be able to recognize skin diseases, disorders & show knowledge of whether they are contraindicated or not.
Endocrine System, Muscles, Bones, Nerves of the face, neck, shoulders & arms
Functions of the hair, nails and skin (All units have theory, practical and case histories)

You will need to provide :
2 Cotten Flat Sheets (Black in Colour)
2 Large Bath Towels & 1 Hand Towel (Wine or Black in Colour)

Saturday Course September 2011
This course will commence on Saturday 8th October and continue on 15th, 22nd October, 12th November. MOCK Exam : Saturday 26th November ITEC EXAM : Friday 2nd December
