ITEC Thai Massage Diploma Course

1 module to include 1 written paper, Practical Exam and Case Studies

Designed for Students with ITEC Anatomy & Physiology and Unit 22.
A technique that involves a unique combination of gentle rocking and
stretching using range of motion and acupressure techniques applied
through clothing without oils.

History of Thai Massage
Marma Points, Doshas and the Five Elements
Positions of the Sen in the body
Physiological and psychological benefits and effects of Thai Massage
Contraindications, Consultation, Referral, Aftercare, Client Care, Home Care
Preparation of Area
Working stances and Massage Technique
Yoga Techniques,
Acupressure and the use of Herbs during Massage
The structures and their function

Commencement Date: Saturday 15th & 16th January, 12th & 13th February, 12th
& 13th March, 16th & 17th April, 21st & 22nd May. Sat 4th June. Exam End June.
