Laura Hilliard - Brady, Director / Tutor Laura is Director and Proprietor of Walmer College & Holistic Centre. She holds qualifications in I.T.E.C Holistic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Onsite Massage, Beauty Specialist & Ear Candling. Laura is teaching Holistic Massage at the College since 1993 and obtained her I.T.E.C Tutorial in 1999. She also teaches Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Indian Head Massage and Onsite Massage. Laura designs essential post-graduate courses to assist and encourage graduates with their Continued Professional Development in the form of massage refresher courses and advanced techniques. Laura works in the Clinic as a Therapist and has obtained certificates in various Product Groups ie Dermalogica, Lu'Lur, Academie and Elemis. Just recently Laura accepted the post as ITEC Examiner. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michelle Burke Delaney, Director / Tutor Michelle is Director of Walmer College & Holistic Centre where she takes care of communications needs of the College & Clinic. This involves managing the Webiste and creating/editing the monthly Walmer News. Michelle holds qualifications in ITEC Holistic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Onsite Massage, Beauty Specialist, Ear Candling and has trained in Elemis & Lu'Lur Luxury Treatments. Michelle joined the Team of Tutors in 2004 and now teaches Holistic Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Stress Management & Indian Head Massage at the College. She also has an ITEC approved Lecturer qualification. On the more subtle side, she has studied Reikli to level 3 and Integrated Energy Therapy to Advanced Level. Michelle runs colour & crystal workshops which inspires her love of colour & crystal energy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Geraldine Nolan, Unit 22 Tutor Geraldine qualified as a Massage Therapist in April 1998 and her experience to date includes working as a Holistic Therapist. Since 2000 Geraldine has been teaching Holistic Massage and in 2003 adapted and devised the I.T.E.C Unit 22 Professional Conduct, Client Handing & Business Awareness for all I.T.E.C Diploma Courses. Geraldine successfully completed her City and Guilds Certificate in Adult Education in 2007 and holds an I.T.E.C. Diploma in lecturing. Geraldine teaches the I.T.E.C. lecturing course on behalf of Walmer with a strong passion for guiding each candidate in a very supportive environment in relation to all aspects of teaching. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carol O’Byrne, Aromatherapy Tutor Carol holds qualifications in Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. She has been working in the centre as a course tutor since 1990 and has a private practice. Carol holds a B Comm. degree and teaches personal development courses in the Larkin Unemployment centre. Carol will tutor the Aromatherapy subjects on this course. She was awarded her tutor diploma in 1999. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul Reddin, Sports Massage Tutor Paul Reddin qualified in Holistic Massage in 1996 and Sports and Remedial Massage in 1997. Since then Paul has being appointed therapist to a number of north Dublin Soccer and Gaelic football clubs. He has also set up and runs a successful sports injuries clinic from a busy medical centre on Dublin’s Northside. Paul has spent many years teaching experience and brings the practical side of his clinic and club experiences with him into the classroom for the benefit of his students. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
