Weekend Workshops & Weekly Classes Introduction to Massage & Aromatherapy with Laura Hillliard-Brady and Michelle Delaney Saturday 28th August 10am - 4pm Cost : €80 (Bring a friend along for half price) This 1 day workshop is an introduction to the basics of massage and aromatherapy. Upon completing the workshop, participants will receive a certificate from the Walmer College and Holistic Centre. The aim of this workshop is to experience the relaxation of massage through the practice of the massage strokes as well as through receiving a massage. Learn massage strokes (Back Neck and Shoulder Massage) for use on family and friends. Explore the many uses of Essential Oils with massage, around the home and in day to day life. Each participant will get to give and receive a massage over the day. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring two large bath towels with you. ADVANCED MASSAGE TECHNIQUES: Expand your Strokes with Laura Hilliard-Brady Monday 30th August 10am - 3:30pm Cost : €75 A fantastic day of learning for past students and qualified therapists. Learn how to expand your strokes to include deep tissue technique and regain confidence in your posture. A great day if you are looking to brush up on your massage, would like to re enter the Holistic field after time away or time out for you as you have the opportunity to give and receive a massage. Bring a Colleague or friend for half price Family Linage Patterns and how this can influence your life An Afternoon workshop with Carmel Robb At Walmer College, Raheny, Dublin 5 Sunday 15th August 2010. 2pm - 5pm. Fee: €30 During this afternoon we will explore the gifts and the valuable wisdom that have been passed down from your Ancestors. Different people chose different families for various different reasons, to grow, to clear karma, to heal, and to nourish and deepen our wisdom. The spiritual paradox is....... if you refuse to forgive, heal and understand your family line you may be blocking the wonderful spiritual energy that is required for your life purpose. If you have agreed to fully heal and be of service there can be no short cuts on the journey. Reiki 1 Workshop With Catriona Doyle Reiki Master / Teacher Sat / Sun 16th & 17th September 10:30am-6pm. Cost €250 (includes support group meeting TBC 7pm-9:30pm) During this workshop you will receive attunements which open you permanently to the universal ray we call Reiki. These enable you to channel Reiki through your hands for yourself and for others. You will learn: The history of Reiki, The basic healing patterns and hand positions, How to give yourself a full Reiki treatment, The functions and importance of the chakras. Reiki 2 Workshop With Catriona Doyle Reiki Master/Teacher Sat & Sun 11th / 12th September 10:30am-6pm. Cost €350 (includes support group meeting TBC 7pm-9:30pm) At this workshop you will receive attunements that will further open you to the Reiki Energy. These attunements will enable you channel a higher voltage of Reiki Energy through your hands for yourself and others. You will learn:- Sacred Symbols (each symbol has a specific purpose that is empowered by Reiki 2 Initiations), Distance Healing and Recap Reiki 1.
